Ten months have passed now since we launched the new website for Grace Baptist Church. On that new site, we offered many features we were not previously able to give. Such things as live streaming services, video archives, mp3 downloads, interactive church calendars and ministry blog updates are just a few of the many things we were unable to provide in years past. We have been closely monitoring the main church site, as well as our other ministry sites and have been very pleased with the six month results.

Back in July, we reported that:

“Since January 2, 2011 we have had 188 sermons from 33 preachers that have been downloaded a total of 10,364 times, which is an average of 55 times per sermon!! The most popular sermon is the Easter Cantata – “Bow the Knee”, which has been downloaded 195 times!”

Now we sit, just three months after that report and not only have we doubled that number, but we’ve increased it far behind we could ever imagine. Our current stats are:

You have 238 sermons from 40 preachers. They have been downloaded a total of 25,102 times, an average of 105 times per sermon. The most popular sermon is http://media.gbcblogs.com/sermons/?sermon_id=223, which has been downloaded 745 times.

So, thank you to all of our visitors and members for helping make these successful numbers. Obviously, numbers aren’t everything and we never want to confuse this, nor use these statistics to replace live, human contact. But it is remarkable how much our own people have grown to love the information and material that’s become available and how many new people continue to find us.

Six months have passed since a new web presence was created for Grace Baptist Church. The main site for our church was rebuilt and launched on January 2, 2011.

In six months, 11 of our ministry sites brought in a total of 20,552 unique visits, 47.84% which were brand new! That’s a little under 10, 000 people who previously knew nothing about Grace Baptist Church! In addition, well over 106,000 pages of our web sites have been viewed during that time. But the relevant statistic for this site revolves around the mp3 sermon downloads. Since January 2, 2011 we have had 188 sermons from 33 preachers that have been downloaded a total of 10,364 times, which is an average of 55 times per sermon!! The most popular sermon is the Easter Cantata – “Bow the Knee”, which has been downloaded 195 times!

Let that sink in…Ten thousand sermon downloads!!
